President Trump fired the 2 Democratic members of the Federal Commerce Fee (FTC) on Tuesday, establishing a problem to a 1935 Supreme Courtroom precedent prohibiting the firing of FTC commissioners for causes aside from “good trigger.”
The White Home terminated commissioners Rebecca Kelly Slaughter and Alvaro Bedoya earlier Tuesday, The New York Instances reported. In a press release, Slaughter referred to as the firings “unlawful.”
